Perception analytics supports Dr. Kim Arcand to demonstrate that her sonification work increases engagement with NASA data. Without evidence of the value of her work, funding could be difficult to access. We design, implement, and analyze surveys to explore the benefits of this form of interaction with data that ensure that ongoing funding is available to continue this important work.
Data analytics pipeline
To ensure ongoing funding of research, cluster randomized trials must be balanced. We built a shiny web application that allowed investigators to practice randomizing different matched pairs to ensure a more balanced trial. Investigators presented the application to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention staff who were very impressed. More information can be found here.
